The developer Illusion Labs has produced a lot of apps lately. Their latest being: Foosball HD. Many of you will probably know this game from the early arcades and gyms.
The game can be played with either 1 or 2 persons. You can also team up and play two by two. My first impression were actually good but when I started playing I became quickly disappointed by how difficult it really is to control your team. Usually I talk about the graphics and sound first but playability is more important right now.
I showed the game to some friends and they had the same problem. In general game idea is great. Each side can control their own team but in practice you more than often end up controlling the team from your opponent. Scoring goals gives a nice sound effect. You are able to play your own background music as well. So nothing wrong there. The graphics are really nice and will match your iPad display perfectly….its just…well..
Just watch the video and you will be enthusiastic. Buying it and playing it will disappoint you. My idea, leave it …
